Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at an 8 Ton Combination Hitch with Mounting Kit and 2" Ball. The combination hitch combines both a ball and a pintle hook mount into one product. It allows you to pull loads that have either a standard coupler or a lunette ring without having to change mounts. This is designed to work with a 2" trailer coupler, and it's designed to work with a lunette ring that has an inner diameter of 2 1/2" to 3", and a section diameter of an 1 1/4" to 1 9/16". This unit is a bolt on installation. The hardware kit is included.

It comes with your bolts, flat washers, split lock washers, and nuts. It's made from a durable steel construction. It features a black powder coated finish on the unit to resist rust and corrosion. The hitch ball is steel with chrome plating to resist rust and corrosion.It's very easy to open and to close. In order to open it you need to remove the pin and clip.

Take this lever right here, it's got finger holds on it. Lift it up. Then rotate back. Then this is how you would connect to your 2" trailer coupler or to your lunette ring. It does remain in the open position for easy connecting.

Also, you can secure it in this position for those instances where you're connected to a standard coupler. It keeps it open. Then when you're ready to close it lift up on those tabs. Push it back down. Then reinstall the pin and clip.

Now the pin and clip is held on there with a chain, so that way you don't misplace it or lose it. Again, it is a bolt on installation.The mounting plate right here, edge to edge, going in this direction measures 4 5/8". Edge to edge this direction, in the center, is about 3 3/16" to 3 1/4". The mount holes on the unit, side to side, they're separated on center by 3 3/8". Up and down they're separated on center by 1 3/4". Now when it comes to the maximum gross trailer weight capacity we're looking at 16,000 pounds for this unit. It has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 3,000 pounds.
